What beliefs and actions influenced Nelson Mandela as a leader?
Mandela’s actions were driven by an unshakeable belief in the equality of all people and his determination to overthrow the racist system of apartheid. Mr Mandela helped to organise and to lead many peaceful protest campaigns but after many violent disruptions by the state it became clear to him and his colleagues that the regime would not allow peaceful change.
Nelson Mandela influenced many people by standing up for what he believed in and dedicating most of his life and safety to gaining justice. Nelson influenced people of the African race and all black citizens by teaching others that they are also people and should be treated like it. Nelson stopped slavery and cruel punishments to blacks and created a new and fair era were everyone had equal rights
